…me (don’t ask how they worked these things out; I’m still not sure) and put her head close to mine, causing a cascade of her thick, lovely, perfumed hair to fall down in front of my eyes, blocking my view of the rest of the room and making it seem like we were the only two people on earth in our warm humid space.
