I am a silly god

A poem

I am a silly god

Instead of creating lavender thunder

Wings and tidings bear worry

Instead of making my cup from lightning

Dark sails abound over the horizon

Instead of seeding with my tread the infinite love of my infinite god heart

I mistake hiding my footprints for a god’s proper humility

Instead of playing in the joy of my godhead

I put other gods,

Silly and otherwise,

Above

me

As a silly god I forget

Love, and do as I choose

As a silly god I forget

Paradox is the language of the divine

As a silly god I forget

Even though broken,

I am unbreakable
