I can only imagine how hard that would be for you. I would think providing support to the families through touch, particularly in the form of a hug, would be part and parcel of your work. I could imagine not being able to hug would make the process feel incomplete.

Are you familiar with end-of-life doulas (or death doulas)? I was wondering how they differ from Celebrants?
