I heard the idea somewhere that you can take pictures of the things you are letting go and create a physical picture album that you keep out, like a coffee table book. I actually have done this with things I let go and I think it did help. I had music records I'd been dragging around for the majority of my life (and no longer even had a turntable). Took a picture of the front and back of every album. Its not all about losing, I think its also about lightening.
