Thank you for sharing your observations. I have recently started thinking about my role as manager for a team of high functioning leaders is, in large part, to ensure they feel they are being seen. I like the word "witness" (without the religious overtones). That has led me to thoughts about the environment, or container, I create for my team. I'm finding that it becomes easier to coach and guide when I'm focused on being present with them, seeing them. Not easy though. It's been an ongoing process of change for me, to grow into that.
